Ken’s Philosophy
I believe music lessons should be equal parts fun and effective for students of all ages. I deliver personalized lessons tailored to each student’s individual abilities and goals. My teaching style is laid back but effective - students should not feel judged or pressured, but rather inspired and excited to explore and share their newfound skills. During lessons I emphasize good technique, musical sound, ability to read music and understand music theory. Before each lesson is over I make sure every student knows what to practice and how to be prepared for what’s next. I have over 15 years of experience in private instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from UMass Lowell. Lessons can be held in-person at my home studio in Woburn, Massachusetts or online via Zoom. Message me for rates!
